Turnagain Arm, Alaska: Potter Railway Section House Features Giant Rotary Plow

he Potter Railway Section House, just south of Anchorage, has been restored to demonstrate what a railroad "section camp" looked like. The camp once maintained 10 miles of track. This 9-foot high rotary plow cleared snow from the tracks.
