Talkeetna, Alaska: The Charm of a Small Alaskan Village

the main jumping-off point for people climbing Mt. McKinley,
the town of Talkeetna has a big reputation. With its friendly
atmosphere and broad main street, however, it has all the
charm of a small Alaskan village. Park your car and walk
around. There are plenty of interesting shops and stores
to wander in and out of. The food here is excellent and
cheap, and there are plenty of places to get something to
eat or drink. There's something for everyone in Talkeetna.
