Glennallen, Alaska: Fly From Gulkana Airport

miles north of Glennallen, at Gulkana Airport, you can go
on flightseeing trips, or trips to McCarthy and Kennicott.
The view of the Wrangell Mountains from the airport is often
exceptional. (This photograph shows Mt. Drum.) Across from
the Gulkana airport is Dry Creek Campground, which has 60
units and was once the site of a World War II army camp. |
