Denali Highway, Alaska: Bike the Denali

n ancient times, a huge lake covered the entire Copper River Valley. It was formed when the last Ice Age ended and the climate began to warm. You can see its shoreline at the 2,000 foot level on the Denali Highway. But these bikers aren't concerned about all that. They're just getting their equipment in line at Paxson for a trip across the Denali Highway.
