Delta Junction, Alaska: Black Rapids Roadhouse

he Black Rapids Roadhouse, on the Richardson Highway south of Delta, shows the wear and tear of years of winter snows and a poor, leaky roof. Like almost all of the original roadhouses along the Valdez-to-Fairbanks Trail, it is collapsing into the tundra.
