survey taken several years ago of Alaskans in towns throughout the state found that people who live in Cooper Landing are the most satisfied with their "quality of life."

Cooper Landing residents said they were happy about their lifestyle, their neighbors, and their economy. The survey was taken by an Alaska Pacific University professor.

Around 425 people live in Cooper Landing - right beside two of North America’s finest salmon streams.
