Cooper Landing, Alaska: Native Footprints

here are 2 locations in Cooper Landing where you can learn more about the early Native residents of the Cooper Landing region, and the 800 Kenaitze tribe members still living.

The native sites are called "K'Beq," meaning "Footprints."

One Cooper Landing location is right across from the Russian River Campground, at Mile 52 on the Sterling Highway. The other is at Mile 53.7.
